Changes to a student's living location

Students must make sure their living location on their application is kept up to date. If a student had expected to be living in their own accommodation during the academic year but will now be living at home during term time, they'll have to update their application to make sure they get the correct amount of student finance.

This also applies to students who had expected to be studying abroad during the academic year. If they'll now be staying in the UK and studying online with their overseas provider, they'll no longer be entitled to the 'overseas' rate of Maintenance Loan. They can update their details through their online account.
