Registering as a New NMH Supplier

To register as a new supplier, you should read the following guidance documents and then complete the relevant forms. You can return the forms by email to disabled.studentallowances@education.gov.uk

The 2023 version of the NMH Mandatory Qualifications applies to all new NMH support workers, or existing NMH support workers starting new NMH roles, from 1 July 2023. NMH support workers who met the qualification requirements of the previous versions of the NMH Mandatory Qualifications will generally be able to continue providing support in that role / those roles to DSA-funded students and will not be required to requalify unless they have a break in delivering their current NMH support role(s) of longer than 12 months. Further information, including exceptions,
can be found in SSIN 04/23. For reference, the earlier 2019 and 2016 versions of the NMH Mandatory Qualifications are provided below.
