It’s time for new and continuing EU full-time undergraduate students to apply for student finance!
Let your students know that it’s quick and easy to apply – they just need to follow these simple steps:
- Fill in the relevant application form
- if they’re a new student they’ll need their passport or identity card. Students don’t need a confirmed place at uni or college before they apply. They can apply using their first choice and change their details later if they need to.
- if they’re a continuing student they’ll only be required to complete the relevant application form. They will not need to re-submit their identity evidence – unless have been specifically asked to provide it.
- Provide evidence – make sure students know that they need to provide any evidence we ask for. If they don’t, it could delay their application.
Undergraduate part-time and postgraduate applications will open in the summer. You should let your students know they can sign up to our mailing list to get an email alert when applications open.
It can take 6 to 8 weeks to process their application, so encourage students to apply early to make sure they get their student finance in time for starting their course.
