It’s time for new and continuing EU full-time undergraduate students to apply for student finance!
Let your students know that it’s quick and easy to apply – they just need to follow these simple steps:
- Fill in the relevant application form
- If they’re a new student they’ll need their passport or identity card. Students do not need a confirmed place at university or college before they apply. They can apply using their first choice and change their details later if they need to.
- If they’re a continuing student they’ll only be required to complete the relevant application form. They will not need to re-submit their identity evidence – unless have been specifically asked to provide it.
- Provide evidence – make sure students know that they need to provide any evidence we ask for. If they don’t, it could delay their application.
Undergraduate part-time and postgraduate full-time and part-time applications will open in the summer.
It can take up to 6 weeks to process their application, so encourage students to apply early to make sure they get their student finance in time for starting their course.
