From Monday 8 June, further education learners can apply for Advanced Learner Loans for courses starting from September 2026.
The quickest and easiest way to apply is online at https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-register-login (opens in a new tab).
What you can do to help
If you speak to students in your role, you should:
- encourage them to apply online (opens in a new tab) as early as possible
- direct them to GOV.UK (opens in a new tab) to find out what’s available, if they can get it and how to apply
- promote the Advanced Learner Loan explained film (opens in a new tab)
