It’s important that students re-apply as soon as possible, but you can reassure them that they’re still able to re-apply after today to get some money in time for their course.
Student’s re-applying after today may receive a minimum amount of student finance to ensure they have some money for starting the next year of their course. It can take up to 6 weeks for us to process the full application.
Encourage all students to re-apply now and read our guidance for applying late.
It’s quick and easy to re-apply online and only takes 10 minutes to:
- confirm course details
- confirm any changes
Remind students if they’re applying for student finance that’s based on their household income, we’ll need their parents’ or partner’s new income details this year.
Next steps
Our contact centre is very busy at the moment, let students know they don’t need to call us for updates. They can simply sign into their online account to:
- track their application
- check for actions to complete
- update their personal details
- reset their password and secret answer
