Did you know that British Sign Language is the first language of 151,000 people in the UK?
As part of our ongoing commitment to accessibility, we’ve been producing all of our films in British Sign Language for several years now. We work with a signer and their interpreter to make sure the films are easy to understand and have all the information our students need to know.
We’ve put together a playlist of our BSL films, which is ideal for sharing with students who might be thinking of going to university or college this year.
It covers everything about the student finance journey from what support students can get, how to apply for it and how they’ll eventually pay it back. We’ll also be producing a separate film series for students thinking about postgraduate study.
