Prior to joining the SLC Ben had been employed as a Personal Adviser with Connexions in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire providing Matrix and NVQ Level 4 approved levels of careers IAG to young people aged 13-20. He advised on a wide range of areas and issues, but taking a specialist role in providing Higher Education guidance to students in school 6th forms and Further Education Colleges from the initial UCAS application stage through to applications for finance, accommodation and beyond.
