Charmaine is the Student Finance Adviser to Practitioners in
the South East of England, covering (See list below). Prior
to joining SLC she worked in HE as a Student Financial Adviser,
offering information, advice and guidance on Student Loans,
Bursaries, Access to Learning Fund, Budgeting, debt advice -
including negotiating with debtors and county courts, ran sessions
on Financial Capability for the Post Graduate programmes and
presentations to parents and students regarding finance and general
advice. She has previously worked as Bank Manager, taught
English as a second language in England and abroad and has
worked/managed in various departments such as Pension, Customer
Service &, HR.
